FSCS eases Lehman misery for UK capital secure investors

The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has begun processing claims from investors who purchased Lehman Brothers-backed secure products from three independent distributors. There is no verdict yet on whether capital-protected products will benefit from the scheme.

Customers who bought capital secure products from NDFA, Defined Returns Limited and Arc Capital and Income will now be eligible to submit claims to the FSCS, as the agency has concluded that the investments were mis-sold
