S&P and Source offer access to US sectors in Ucits III format
Standard & Poor's (S&P) has launched nine sector indexes, allowing European investors to buy and trade US sector indexes.
The S&P Select Sector Capped 20% Index Family, a variation on S&P's existing sector indexes, has been launched in partnership with Source, the London-based specialist provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Source has launched nine ETFs based on the indexes, which it listed on the London Stock Exchange on January 5.
The indexes, which cap the weight on each index, are
