Distribution veteran joins Advisors Asset Management in US
Brian Jones has been hired by Advisors Asset Management (AAM), the broker dealer firm, as managing director of retail sales distribution, exiting his position as managing director, head of equity derivatives sales for the Americas at Macquarie Capital after nine months.
Jones is a veteran of the retail distribution space, having established the structured products desks at both Incapital and Countrywide in his previous career. Prior to joining Macquarie in December 2008, Jones was head of private investor products at ABN Amro for North America, where he worked for two-and-a-half years.
In his new role, based in New Jersey, Jones will create and lead a team to support broker dealer and advisor communities across AAM's product lines.
