Nvesta to be sold as EAG goes into administration

Restructuring proposals were submitted in March last year in order to make the repayment to the bondholders and EAG initially planned to dispose of its entire shareholding in Nvesta before June 2008.

“A number of parties have expressed interest in buying our structured products business,” says Simon Bottomley, director at Nvesta in London. He declined to name the interested parties, adding that a new buyer would be announced in a few months time.
