ING launches structured fund in Malaysia

ING Wholesale Banking has launched the ING AsiaPac Capital Guaranteed fund in Malaysia. The three-year structured protected fund is an investment in zero-coupon negotiable instruments of deposits (ZIND) and in a combination of offshore assets.

According to ING, the fund is suitable for risk averse investors who are seeking to preserve the value of their capital and would like to participate and benefit from the potential upside of equity options and foreign markets.

The fund’s benchmark is the three-month Maybank fixed deposit rate and it provides 100% capital protection at maturity.

The minimum initial investment is RM5,000 (US$ 1,385) and the offer closes on 26 May.
