S&P expands Stars index family
S&P has launched two new Stars indexes: the US index and the Europe Index, which provide exposure to the top stock picks of S&P equity research analysts in Europe and the US.
The indexes are designed to measure the performance of stocks within the S&P Composite 1500 (US Stars) and S&P Europe 350 (Europe Stars) The Europe index contains 25 large-cap European stocks that may outperform the S&P Europe 350 index over a 12-month period.
S&P has three existing sets of All Stars baskets, which focus on high growth potential stocks in the US, Europe and Asia.
