RBS poaches trader Chang from Barclays

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Kevin Chang as head of equity derivatives strategy in Asia, as the government-backed bank continues to aggressively expand into the institutional derivatives space.

Based in Hong Kong, Chang will be responsible for identifying equity derivatives trading opportunities and hedging solutions for institutional client base, including hedge funds and other real money asset managers. Chang will report to Shane Edwards, global head of equity derivatives structuring.

Chang was formerly at Barclays Global Investors where he was head of European Active Equities Strategy and Credit Suisse where he was global head of Equity Derivatives Solutions, amongst other roles.
