ABN Amro markets retail structured notes in North America

According to Gijs Kaars Sijpesteijn, London-based head of ABN Amro’s Private Investor Products, Americas & UK, the promotion of S-Notes is the first phase of ABN Amro’s ‘push and pull’ campaign to increase retail awareness of structured notes in North America.

“We are introducing the S-note concept to the financial advisers and broker-dealers first by marketing the notes using both the print and electronic media,” he says. “The second phase is the ‘pull’ stage. We will be promoting our ABN Amro
