New Hong Kong offering from Barclays
UK investment bank Barclays Capital has launched its second retail investment fund in Hong Kong. The Financial Select Income Fund guarantees investors quarterly dividends in the first year totally 10% while also limiting downside risk.
The Financial Select Income Fund is an open-ended structured fund with exposure to 25 of the world’s top financial services companies ranked by dividend yields. The selected stocks must have a minimum market capitalisation of US$ 800 million, average daily turnover of at least US$10 million, and be recommended by at least three quarters of the research analysts tracked by Bloomberg.
