Elsip for Asia
RBS has launched equity-linked structured investor products (Elsip) under its newly built structured investor products programme in Hong Kong, which allows the bank to issue its own branded products through local distributors.
The callable Elsip is an equity-linked structured investor product that offers potential yield enhancement. Although not capital protected, it can be linked to a single or a basket of underlying stocks. It provides competitive potential distribution amounts and the opportunity to be called early. The distribution amounts are based on the share price performances of the underlying stock(s).
