Société Générale unveils 143 covered warrants and 15 turbos in UK

Société Générale (SG) has released a range of 143 covered warrants tracking the FTSE indexes and major commodities, as well as 15 turbos based on UK equities. The newly-launched covered warrants boost the total number of issues to 194 in two weeks by SG. The range focuses on UK equities, including the mining, energy and utility sectors, as well as the financial sector. Both bullish and bearish views are provided for the equity underlyings through puts and calls, with the exception of financials owing to the current ban on short-selling of equities in the sector.

SG introduced turbos on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in September and its latest offering of 15 focuses on UK equities, including six major blue chip companies. The turbos are available in long and short versions on each underlying, again with the exception of the financial sector, to offer both bull and bearish views. The turbos also provide different levels of gearing for various risk profiles.
