JP Morgan debuts in Singapore; launches first Asian structured funds

JP Morgan has launched its first structured product for Singapore retail investors and has also brought to market two retail structured funds in Asia for the first time.

The JP Morgan AsiaConfidence Note in Singapore, which is distributed by DBS, HSBC and Standard Chartered, is linked to four underlying indexes comprising the MSCI Singapore Cash IX, Thailand Set 50, Kuala Lumpur Composite and the MSCI Taiwan. The 30-month product is not principal protected and will pay a quarterly fixed equity coupon of 1.875% (7.5% p.a.) until maturity if no early redemption event has occurred.
