Hong Kong regulator launches structured products TV drama
Hong Kong securities industry watchdog the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) launched a television drama series last month to educate the public on the features and the risks of investment products.
The Cantonese drama series "Investment Challenge", is the SFC’s latest investor-education initiative to tackle complex and structured products mis-selling. Investment Challenge has 10 five-minute episodes, covering investment products including equity-linked instruments, managed funds, bonds, warrants, futures, investment-linked assurance schemes, real estate investment trusts and leveraged foreign-exchange contracts.
