Merrill Lynch offers second retail credit-linked note in Singapore

The seven-year callable LinkEarner Notes are denominated in both US Dollars and Singapore Dollars. The denominations of the two respective currency offerings are S$5,000 and US$5,000, with minimum investment amounts of S$20,000 and US$10,000.

The interest coupon for the first two years will be 5.25% (SGD-denominated Note) or 7% (USD-denominated Note) every year based on the note principal amount, so long as no credit events occur among any of the five banks and there is no principal loss in
