Man Group and Oxford University team up to launch Quantitative Finance Institute

The Oxford-based institute is funded solely by Man Group which has allocated £13.75 million for the initial five years including £3.3 million for an endowed chair, to be called the Man Professor of Quantitative Finance.

“The Institute will primarily deal with how the pricing of exotic options, and this will include structured products, which provide a vehicle for investors and institutions to establish their own unique stance in the market,” says Sam Howison, director of the Oxford Finance
