Deutsche Börse expands in Asia

Deutsche Börse has expanded its Asian index business. It has added to the DAX Global Index Series with the release of the Dax Global Asia and has also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with China Securities Index Company.

The Dax Global Asia bundles the 40 largest and most liquid stocks from the Asian region (excluding Japan). The index constituents originate from China, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. The level of a country’s gross domestic product determines how many of its stocks are included in the index.
