What does 2007 hold for UK-based structured products professionals? Jim Goddard-Jones director of UK distributor NDF provides his thoughts below.

2007 contains more opportunities than threats for UK structured products providers in a market that still has significant development potential. I hope we will see another year of progress following a positive 2006 which has seen increased activity and higher sales through intermediaries. Keen competition continues to drive customer value and stimulate innovation, extending the appeal of structured products to a broader range of clients.

Although structured products are still sometimes ignored
