Barclays delivers Defined Returns Plans
Barclays Wealth has launched two Defined Returns Plans (DRP) in order to provide investors in unprotected equities greater security. The DRP Capital Protection offers 20% fixed return for a three-year term, 30% for the four-year term or 40% for the five-year term. The three investment options provide full capital protection and deliver the respective fixed-returns, provided the FTSE 100 index is equal to or higher than its starting level by maturity.
The DRP Annual Kick Out offers 10% return for each year of the plan’s investment term. If the index equals, or exceeds its starting level on any of the anniversaries, including the final date, the plans automatically matures and delivers 10% multiplied by the number of years the plan has been active.
