SIA calls for regulatory convergence between EU and US

SIA chairman Richard Thornburgh, the chief risk officer for Credit Suisse Group, said today that the SEC and the CESR needed to explore a more formal framework for collaboration and co-operation to create a complementary linkage between US and European securities regulators.
