UK investors back ethical funds

UK investors are more supportive of the idea of socially responsible investing than their European counterparts, a survey from ABN Amro Asset Management has shown.

88% of UK respondents said that socially responsible investment (SRI) funds are a good idea, compared with 84% of respondents in Holland and Germany and 82% in France.
