Asia-Pacific CDO issuance to rise this year

February 23—Collateralised debt obligation (CDO) issuance in the Asia-Pacific region will rise in 2006, predicts rating agency Fitch in a new report.

“Levels and types of issuance will vary from country to country and the market will continue to bring a mixture of cross-border and domestic transactions,” says Rachel Hardee, head of structured credit for the Asia-Pacific region.
