April has been a shocking month for the auto sector and DCX has not been immune. Taking as read the contagion impact of the GM/Ford earnings guidance debacle, the market has also been unnerved by the €1.2bn restructuring of Smart, the recall of 1.3 million Mercedes vehicles (an attempt to finally put the quality issue behind them) and press speculation that the group was a private equity
