Collins and Fortis launch funds

UK brokerage Collins Stewart has launched its first derivatives-based bond fund that will appeal to retail investors looking for capital preservation. The Collins Stewart Total Return Bond Fund was launched as a result of investors asking chief investment officer and the fund’s manager Jim Goodey if he could sustain the performance of his offshore Hirzell House global bond fund.

Goodey felt that with market conditions uncertain, he needed a few extra tools at his disposal to assist in risk
