CS top for $ bonds

Dollar high-yield bonds from Credit Suisse outperformed rival banks' bonds in the first four weeks following issuance, according to independent research firm FridsonVision.

Bonds underwritten by Credit Suisse tightened 18.6bp against the Lehman Brothers US High-Yield Corporate Index in the four quarters to October. That compares with 13.3bp for runner-up Goldman Sachs' bonds and 7.6bp for all deals. Three underwriters - Bear Stearns, Jefferies and JPMorgan - combined better-than-average
