Alongside the Analysts of the Year Awards , Credit took the opportunity to ask investors across Europe how useful and independent they find sell-side credit research, how they prefer to have it delivered and whether they plan to build up their internal research teams. David Watts reports

At the start of 2003, when Credit began work on this year’s Analysts of the Year survey, the UK market research company Mori, which conducted the survey, suggested we could use the opportunity to pose a number of simple questions about the state of credit research.
