Gain Capital takes $10 million investment from Tudor

Gain Capital, the foreign exchange trading platform aimed at middle-market traders, has secured a $10 million investment from Tudor Ventures, the venture capital and private equity arm of Tudor Investment.

Tudor Ventures said Gain’s ability to attract new investors to the market should create significant value over the next several years.

“In addition to a growing, high-margin revenue stream, Gain possesses many of the characteristics we look for in an investment opportunity, including a strong management team, a capital-efficient business model and a strong competitive position,” said Bob Forlenza, a managing partner at Tudor Ventures.

Gain has already received funding from private equity companies Edison Ventures, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, and Blue Rock Capital.
