NAPF attacks regulators for unfair rules


Robin Ellison, chairman of the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), has hit out at regulators for not scrutinising insurance companies closely enough, whilst toughening up oversight of pension funds.

Speaking in London on 6 December at a conference organised by Life & Pensions, Ellison disparagingly referred to the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors (CEIOPS) as a, "Cartel of regulators that are determined to provide a level playing field to make pension
