Warsaw played host to the inaugural Structured Products Conference for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), held at the city's Marriott hotel on September 30. Mateusz Walczak, chief executive of New World Alternative Investments in Warsaw, opened the event by providing an overview of the region's nascent structured products market and exploring the impact of the credit crunch.
