Index round-up
- Standard & Poor's (S&P) has launched three new sharia indexes and five Arab sharia country indexes. The indexes comprise the S&P Global Infrastructure Shariah, the S&P Global Healthcare Shariah, and the S&P/IFCI Large-MidCap Shariah. The Arab country indexes include Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.
The Global Infrastructure Shariah Index is designed to provide exposure to 20 companies from around the world that represent the listed infrastructure universe which is drawn from the S&P
