German trade associations to merge in 2008


The two German structured products trade associations - Derivate Forum (DF) and Deutsches Derivate Institut (DDI) - are to merge, finally putting to rest a bifurcated lobby for the nation's structured products market. The two entities will found Deutsche Derivate Verband (DDV) at the beginning of 2008, bringing together the supporters of the wrappers that dominate the German market.
