Cantor Fitzgerald makes an innovative debut

Cantor Fitzgerald, the New York-based financial services company, has entered the structured products market with a three-year note linked to an underlying equity holding and a range of Treasury Strips (separately traded registered interest and principal securities).

The structure, Yield Underlying Participating Securities (Yups), gives the investor exposure to a single equity while also paying regular income generated from the Treasury Strips. Each Yups will hold 12 Strips – zero-coupon bonds
