West Brom doffs cap to investors

The UK's West Bromwich Building Society is hoping a high leverage rate with no cap on the upside will make British investors flock to put their money in its latest offering. The six-year FTSE Booster Guaranteed Capital Account comes with a full capital guarantee, returns 150% of any growth on the FTSE 100, yet has no cap on upside returns.

"There are one or two products out there offering 135% of the index's returns, but they all come with a cap, so you're only getting maybe 60% at the back end
