HSBC launches sharia dual-currency product

HSBC has launched a sharia-compliant structured product in Malaysia. The Amanah Islamic Dual Currency Structured Investment comprises two components - namely the commodity murabaha-i and the unilateral promise to exchange currencies - and offers investors the opportunity of earning enhanced returns on short-term surplus funds.
