Malaysia's watchdog allows structured warrants issuance


Malaysia's Securities Commission (SC) has published a revised set of guidelines to facilitate the issuance of structured warrants. Structured warrant products include call warrants, basket call warrants and bull equity-linked structures on foreign underlying shares.

The SC says that investors can now invest in structured warrants issued on companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, and those issued on foreign listed shares and indexes.
