As ever, 2005 has been another year of rapid change in the market with regulatory factors again looming large. Whilst some of the problems that surfaced in the last few years, especially in some of the European markets such as the UK, France and Italy, have begun to fade, newer regulatory developments continue to keep market participants on their toes.
