Standard & Poor's explores new positions with 130/30 index


Standard and Poor's launched the S&P 500 130/30 Strategy Index, which is designed to measure the performance of an investment strategy that establishes 30% overweight and underweight positions relative to the S&P 500.

The index, the first offering by an index provider in the 130/30 strategy space, is rebalanced on a quarterly basis. The rebalancing comprises a core 100% long position in the S&P 500, 1% overweight positions in the 30 S&P 500 constituent stocks (long basket), and 1% underweight
