Cheung Kong builds on equities from Hong Kong Stock Exchange


Cheung Kong, a property developer in Hong Kong, has launched a structured note linked to a basket of stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Cheung Kong, China Petroleum & Chemical, China Mobile and China Life Insurance.

The equity-linked note, which is underwritten by Fortis Bank and issued and guaranteed by Cheung Kong, has a minimum tenor of three months and a maximum of one year. The note pays a fixed coupon of 4.5% at the end of the first quarter. Two conditional coupons of 4.5% are
