Hermes debuts virtual property derivatives forum
Institutional fund manager Hermes has set up a virtual property derivatives trading forum in an effort to accelerate the development of the UK's property derivatives market. The forum, which comprises institutional investors, property companies, investment managers, investment banks and property derivatives specialists, intends to trade all property and sub-sector derivatives on a virtual basis. Although no market-making is involved, the idea is to get the industry comfortable with trading
