ABN index tracks firms tackling climate change

Dutch bank ABN Amro last month launched an equity index that tracks the performance of listed companies involved in addressing climate change and environmental issues. The bank claims that the Climate Change and Environment Index is the "world's first dynamic, rules-based index that tracks the performance of stocks directly related to businesses involved in tackling the adverse effects of climate change and mitigating environmental degradation." The index can be used to track certificates
