Britannia to buy Bristol & West branch network


Bristol & West branches are set to disappear from the UK high street altogether following Britannia Building Society's plan to buy the 97 branches for a total of £150 million. But the removal of a proprietary retail distribution conduit is expected to have little or no impact on the overall sale of structured products, says Jim Goddard-Jones, head of third-party distribution at Bristol & West.
