UBS will finish integrating its wholly-owned subsidiary Noriba by the end of 2006. Noriba specialises in institutional and high-net-worth private clients seeking sharia-compliant investments. The bank's wealth management clients will now be able to access a range of services provided by UBS. Noriba will also take over the responsibility for sharia-compliant investments. A spokeswoman at UBS in Zurich says that the integration will result in Noriba distributing UBS-labelled products.
