S&P and ABN customise

Standard & Poor's (S&P) has signed an agreement with ABN Amro's retail trading and structuring desk (structured derivatives) in London under which ABN Amro will use S&P Custom Indexes to value their equity derivative strategies. ABN Amro will specify the securities and weighting methods for the custom indexes.

Standard & Poor's Custom Indexes draws upon S&P's family of global indexes, including the S&P/Citigroup indexes that cover 10,000 companies globally, the S&P Emerging Markets Database that
