Like the eponymous hero from the seminal Kenny Rogers song, Donald Trump is gambling on a favorable outcome to the imminent restructuring of his casino group’s debts. Anxious bondholders are awaiting the outcome, as Saskia Scholtes reports

Donald Trump is undoubtedly a man of many talents. Aside from his celebrated business acumen in the cut-and-thrust environment of Manhattan real-estate developments, he has recently found fame as the star of hit reality TV show The Apprentice and is the author of a handful of best-selling business manuals, including How to Get Rich, The Art of the Deal and The Art of Survival.

Less successful, however, has been Trump’s foray into the casino industry, for which he may well be rereading his own
