Trump makes eleventh-hour interest payment

The timing of the payment has shaken confidence in the casino and hotel group

Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, Donald Trump’s struggling casino empire, kept investors on the edge of their seats in May, making an interest payment only three days before its deadline. Trump HCR delayed a $73.1 million interest payment to its bondholders due May 1, invoking a 30-day grace period. The recent payment will, at most, grant the company a temporary respite from its financial troubles.
