China Investment Corp set to choose equity and bond funds

China Investment Corp (CIC), manager of China's $200 billion sovereign wealth fund, has begun to interview bond-fund managers this year, as its fledgling investment team seeks to put $75 billion-80 billion to work in various asset classes, Jesse Wang, CIC's chief risk officer, told a Credit Suisse investment seminar in Hong Kong on April 3.
