The Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) has played a huge part in placing South Korea’s derivatives market on the map, boasting the most actively traded equity options contract in the world. Recording triple-digit growth in volumes every year since its launch in 1997, the KSE’s options contracts have smashed global trading records for the past three years running.

Average daily volumes for the Kospi 200 option contracts have grown by more than 200% so far this year, following on from its 325%
