Every Tuesday morning a Who’s Who of US corporate bond investors dial in to a Lehman Brothers conference call on the state of the credit markets. So what’s so special about this particular strategy call, asks Philip Moore


The Lehman Brothers’ weekly conference call, which – as every corporate bond investor worth his salt knows – takes place Tuesdays at 07.45am EST, was originally the brainchild of Rick Rieder, Lehman’s head of credit, and Arthur Tetyevski, US high-grade credit strategist.

It evolved out of the daily internal call during which Lehman’s credit traders and analysts exchanged – and still exchange – ideas on the most salient market themes of the day. Such an internal conference call is by no means
