Endowment guru Yusko launches fund of hedge funds
Mark Yusko, who resigned from his post as head of the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill’s endowment fund in mid-2004, is launching a registered fund of funds. His new firm, Morgan Creek Capital, will co-manage the Hatteras Multi-Strategy Fund with Hatteras Investment Partners, which, like Yusko, is based in North Carolina. “We wanted to build a single fund that allows individuals and institutions to gain exposure to a fully diversified portfolio of alternatives through one
