Dow Jones Stoxx adds coverage of Iceland, Bulgaria, Romania

Dow Jones Stoxx is to add three countries to the pan-European Dow Jones Stoxx Index series. Iceland, Romania and Bulgaria will be included in the Dow Jones index universe from January 2007.

Iceland will be added to the Dow Jones Stoxx Total Market Index and its sub indexes, such as the Dow Jones Stoxx Nordic Total Market Index. The Dow Jones Stoxx Total Market Index measures the performance of stocks in 17 developed European countries.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria and Romania will be added to the Dow Jones Stoxx EU Enlarged Total Market Index. The index measures the performance of stocks in the 10 countries that joined the European Union on May 1, 2004. Bulgaria and Romania will be admitted
