Q: Which indexes were most popular as underlyings for structured products in 2007 and will there be any difference this year?

A: Prior to 2007, structured products had tended to be based on the big benchmark indexes, but in 2007 there was a noticeable turn towards more narrowly focused and specialty indexes.
